
Moser Leads Pirates to Victory at Cappy Anderson Invite

Princess Anne, Md. – Junior Jarod Moser (Duncanville, Texas) captured the individual title on Saturday, and led seven Seton Hall men's cross country runners in the Top-10 in a dominating victory at the Cappy Anderson Invitational hosted by Maryland Eastern Shore.
Moser was the first to complete the 8K course, crossing the finish line in 26:22.0. Right behind him in second was senior Jake Simon (Freehold, N.J.) with a time of 26:36.6. Senior Jeff Larson (Yucca Valley, Calif.) (27:18.0) and freshman Brandon Guerrera (Farmingville, N.Y.) (27:19.2) finished in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Senior Bryant Cordova (Elizabeth, N.J.), and juniors Ricky Stephens (Stony Point, N.Y.) and Matt Lemoine (Stony Point, N.Y.) rounded out the Seton Hall contingent in the Top-10.
Looking ahead, The Hall will head to New York to compete in the Metro Championship on Friday, Oct. 6 in Van Cortlandt Park.
