NEW YORK – Andrea Borg (Sliema, Malta) has been named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday. Borg picked up a goal and two assists this past week as the Pirates took down Princeton and Creighton at home.

Borg got his week started in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Tigers, scoring the eventual game-winning goal and assisting on another tally in the second half. Borg collected the ball in the attacking midfield, moved towards the penalty area, and laced a shot from just outside the 18-yard box into the upper 90 to give the Pirates a 2-1 lead at the time. Borg would also generate another assist in Saturday's 2-1 win over Creighton. The forward played a perfect back heel pass to Mark Walier (Holmdel, N.J.) in the box, who slammed one home just 10 seconds before halftime to level the score at 1-1.

Borg and the Pirates return to action this Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they travel to Queens to take on St. John's.
