
Cary Named BIG EAST Swim & Dive Men's Athlete of the Week

NEW YORK – Seton Hall sophomore Kevin Cary (West Chester, Pa.) has been named BIG EAST Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Cary picked up the fastest time in four events in Saturday's dual meet victory over Monmouth. The sophomore opened by swimming the anchor leg of the winning 200 Medley Relay team, clocking in a 20.97 50 Free split. Cary would go on to earn wins in the 200 Free (1:40.09) and the 100 Free (46.67), with the former being the fastest time in the event in the BIG EAST this season. Cary also helped the 200 Free Relay team post the quickest time in the final event of the day.
Cary and the Pirates are back in action for a pair of meets this weekend beginning on Friday when they travel to Philadelphia to face Drexel at 4 p.m.
