Erin Geary Named Director of Women's Basketball Operations

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. Seton Hall graduate Erin Geary has been named the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations by head coach Phyllis Mangina.  Geary has served as the program’s secretary for the past eight seasons.

“Erin has worked incredibly hard for our program for many years, and this is well-deserved,” said Mangina.  “We are very excited to have her move into this new position.”

In her new role, Geary will direct all facets of operation in the women’s basketball office and serve as the program’s liaison to the rest of the University and all outside agencies.  She will also coordinate summer camps, oversee film exchange, facilitate the enrollment process of incoming student-athletes and assist the head coach with community service, internships and work programs for current student-athletes.

As the program’s secretary, Geary oversaw the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball office, including coordinating mailings, ordering equipment and supplies, maintaining databases and numerous administrative duties.  She was also directly involved in the planning of team travel.  While a student, Geary acted as head manager during her senior season and has also worked at the Phyllis Mangina Basketball Camp since 1997.

A 2000 graduate of Seton Hall with a degree in education, Geary received her master’s in business administration in 2004.
