
Go Leads MGolf to 7th Place After Round 1

GRASONVILLE, MD. -- Sophomore Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) fired a 2-over-par, 73, to lead the Seton Hall men's golf team to a seventh place standing following the first round of the 2015 Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational.
Go was even on the front nine and was just 2-over-par on the back nine, birdying hole 15 to lead the Seton Hall charge. Currently, Go is tied for third place, just two strokes off the individual lead. Arkansas' Nicolas Echavarria and LIU's Stewart Gray currently share the lead at even-par.
Collectively, Seton Hall shot a 34-over-par, 318, in round one and trails the team leader, William & Mary, by 18 strokes entering Sunday's final round.
Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.) is 7-over-par with a 78 in round one. The junior is currently tied for 20th place overall.
David Cha (Carrollton, Texas) is 12-over-par with an 83. Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.) is one stroke behind Cha with a 13-over-par, 84, while Harper is one stroke behind Wilson with a 14-over-par, 85.
In all 23 teams are competing at the par-71, 6,530-yard Prospect Bay Country Club. In addition to Seton Hall and two teams from host Towson, participating schools include: Arkansas, Colgate, Fairfiled, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hofstra, IUP, IUPUI, Long Island, Navy, Penn, Robert Morris, Rutgers, Sacred Heart, Siena, St. Bonaventure, Saint Peters, UMass-Lowell, UMES, Washington & Lee and William & Mary.
