- Induction:
- 1984
Alfred Daley came to Seton Hall from Kingston and developed into a two-time All-American. He was part of the team which broke the world-record indoor mile relay mark and established a time of 3:11.9. His titles include the New Jersey Indoor 60-yard championship (1973), Metropolitan Indoor 60-yard championship (1974), and Metropolitan and New Jersey Outdoor 400 Meter championship (1973–74). As an Olympian, he took fourth place with the Jamaican mile-relay quartet in Montreal in 1976, but missed out on a gold medal in Moscow in 1980 when the team’s anchor pulled up with an injury with only 150 meters remaining.
