Anna Cavanaugh Dierickx

The first woman inducted to the Seton Hall Athletics of Fame, Anna Cavanaugh Dierickx was a strong supporter of the program for close to 40 years. She was involved with the SHU Women’s Guild, the Owen T. Carroll Diamond Club, the Quarterback Club, and the Winner’s Circle. Anna and her husband, Edward, could be seen at most Seton Hall sporting events – a tradition which she continued even after her husband’s passing. A proud graduate of the Newark school system and a successful business woman, she was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Ironbound Executive Association, the Booster-Purveyor Club, N.A.M.A., The Ironbound Manufacturers Club, the National Association of Independent Businessmen, and the Automatic Vendor of America.
