As a four-year starter at setter, Casie Alexander helped take the Pirates to a new level, with a four-year record during her career of 93-44, including a 27-11 record in 1990. At the time of her graduation, she was the all-time NCAA leader in service aces with 416. She led the Pirates in aces and assists in each season she played and in 1993 was named second-team All-BIG EAST. At the time of her induction, she held numerous SHU records, including all-time assist leader (4,399), aces leader (416), fourth all-time in digs (805), fourth all-time in block assists (250), aces in a match (12), and for 13 years held the record for assists in a match (67).
