Charles Puleo

The workhorse of Seton Hall’s pitching staff from 1974–77, Charles Puleo started 36 games, appeared in 43 contests, and had a 27-7 record with a 3.23 ERA and 172 strikeouts. He was part of the Seton Hall teams that reached the College World Series in 1974 and 1975. He went on to pitch professionally, reaching the Major Leagues with the New York Mets in 1981 and going to pitch for eight seasons.
