A graduate of Seton Hall and recipient of the prestigious 1995 Distinguished Alumnus Award, David Gerstein is credited as one of the individuals responsible for the establishment of the Pirate Blue Athletic Fund. Over the course of 18 years, he committed much of his time, talents, leadership and energy to the organization’s success. A longtime majority partner of the New Jersey Nets, he served as a member of the Seton Hall University Board of Regents and as co-chair for the Richie and Sue Regan Endowed Fund for Athletics.
