Edward R. Petrie

Induction:
1978

Edward Petrie engineered the Pirates into the NIT in 1955–56 and was selected captain of the Metropolitan All-Stars. He was also selected to the All-Metropolitan team. Though drafted by the New York Knicks, he played his professional ball with the Hazelton Jets of the Eastern League and also with the New Haven Bears on the Connecticut State League before turning to coaching.
