Harry Brooks

Harry Brooks was an All-State basketball and baseball player while at Emerson High School, having established a career record of 1,468 points as a basketball forward. At Seton Hall, he scored a career total of 856 points, and in his senior year he averaged 15.0 points per game to lead the team in scoring. He was also captain of the 1954 team and was an All-East selection and MVP of the Dixie Classic. During his three years of play, the Pirates had a record of 69-15 and won the 1953 NIT Championship. Drafted by the Baltimore Bullets, he played in the Eastern League (later known as the CBA) for six years.
