Induction:
1982

John Suminski became an outstanding basketball player at Seton Hall, earning a career total of 846 points. He served as co-captain of the 1968–69 squad and was president of his class for each of his four years at The Hall. After graduation, he obtained a law degree from Notre Dame Law School, serving his apprenticeship in Federal District Court, and then becoming a federal prosecutor for four years from 1973–77.
