Kevin Hennessey

Known for his power run, Kevin Hennessey frequently ran the lead leg on the relay and was a member of the Seton Hall two-mile relay team of the mid-1960s. As a member of this record-breaking team, which clocked the third-fastest time in the world in 1963, he won three National Championships. In 1962, he helped Seton Hall secure its only Metropolitan Intercollegiate Cross Country Championship, became the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Indoor Mile Champion, and became the Outdoor Mile Champion. He was also co-captain of the cross-country, indoor and outdoor track teams in his senior year and won the indoor 1000-yard title in 1963.
