Kevin Lyles '95 was one of men's track & field's all-time greats and ended his career as the most decorated performer in BIG EAST Conference history. The league's record holder for most individual championships with 17, he is the only student-athlete in the conference to ever win four events in a single outdoor championship meet, and combined with his five relay titles, he is a 22-time BIG EAST champion. He was a four-time winner of BIG EAST Most Outstanding Track Performer of the Year, two indoors and two outdoors, and he helped Seton Hall win the 1993 BIG EAST Indoor Championship. He is also a five-time All-America selection with his highest finish coming in the 1995 400m, when he won bronze.
