Leslie S. Chavies

Leslie Chavies started all four years at Seton Hall and was named Small College Basketball All-American in her freshman year. At the time of her induction, she was third on the all-time scoring list with 1,360 points and held the record for most points scored in a single game at 32. During her playing years, the team had a record of 73-34 and culminated by winning the EAIAW Small College Championship in 1979. After graduation, she played professional basketball for the New Jersey Gems and fast pitch softball for 10 years with the Montclair Major League softball team. In 1981 she was named an All-American as a member of the national championship team.
