Louis Kernan was affiliated with Seton Hall since 1927 and was honored by the University in 1968 with and honorary degree. His unselfishness, dedication and loyalty to Seton Hall are considered unparalleled. He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Seton Hall and also held the office of President of the “Friends of Seton Hall University.” His memberships included the President’s Advisory Board, the Winners Circle and the Development Fund. He was also the first President of the Alumni Federation.
