Mark Bryant helped Seton Hall reach unprecedented success on the basketball court. A two-time All-BIG EAST selection, three-time All-Met honoree and the 1988 Haggerty Award winner, he was a part of the The Hall’s first NCAA Tournament team in 1988 and scored 30 points in the Pirates’ first-round win over UTEP. At the time of his induction, Bryant ranked sixth on the all-time Seton Hall career scoring list with 1,906 points (16.2/gm), fifth in career rebounds with 912, and sixth in career blocks with 111. As a senior, he averaged 20.5 points and 9.1 rebounds. Bryant was selected 21st overall in the 1988 NBA Draft by the Portland Trailblazers, and enjoyed 15-year career with 10 teams.
