Induction:
1978

Melvin Knight achieved All-Eastern, All-Division and All-Metropolitan honors at Seton Hall and was MVP of the Hurricane Classic. Despite injuries that severely hampered him as a sophomore and senior, he finished his career with 775 points and 243 rebounds. He averaged 17.8 points a game during the 1968–69 season. Following graduation, he served as an Associate Director with Seton Hall Athletics.
