Michael Sheppard, Jr.

During his three years as a shortstop on the team (1977–80), Michael Sheppard helped Seton Hall to an 81-36-2 record and three trips to the ECAC New York-New Jersey Playoffs. He was the 1980 New Jersey College Player of the Year after leading the Pirates with 41 RBI and 51 hits. At the time of his induction, he held the record of 115 errorless consecutive chances. He was selected by the Houston Astros in the MLB Amateur Draft and at the end of his playing career, he began a successful run as the head baseball coach at Seton Hall Prep.
