Morris J. Curotta

Morris Curotta, a world-class athlete, represented his native Australia in the 1948 and 1952 Olympics. In the 1948 games, he became the first Australian to contest an Olympic sprint final and was also the winner of Great Britain’s Harvey Memorial Trophy. At Seton Hall, he distinguished himself as the 1953 IC4A 440 Outdoor Champion and as a member of the 1951 Indoor IC4A One-Mile Relay Championship team. He was also a member of the 1951 Outdoor IC4A One-Mile Relay Championship team, as well as a member of the 1951 Indoor National Sprint Medley Championship team.
