1984

As a sportswriter for the Newark Evening News, Paul Horowitz was a legend among his peers. Although he graduated from Syracuse University, he placed Seton Hall Athletics at the top of his list. He dedicated himself to the success of the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame by serving as historian and publicity director for the first 10 years. He researched the backgrounds and accomplishments of all nominees, and in 1982, authored the Seton Hall Athletics Hall of Fame’s ten-year history.
