Peter Scavo '00 was an elite goal scorer for the Pirates in the late 1990s, serving as the offensive catalyst throughout his time at The Hall. Originally from Raritan, N.J., Scavo ranks third all-time in goals (50) and points (122) and leads the program with 20 all-time game-winning goals. He was the 1999 BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year, a four-time All-BIG EAST and All-Mid Atlantic selection and the 1998 New Jersey Player of the Year. Scavo will be inducted posthumously after tragically passing away in 2021 at the age of 42.
