Ramon Ramos
- Induction:
- 2006
Ramon Ramos is one of the most recognized names in Seton Hall lore. A powerful frontcourt performer for the men’s basketball team from 1985–89, Ramos helped lead the team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 1988 and then earned first-team All-BIG EAST honors in 1989 while leading Seton Hall to the Final Four and national championship game. He scored 1,017 career points and pulled down 631 rebounds, and his career field goal percentage of .557 ranks first all-time in school history. After Seton Hall, Ramos signed with the NBA’s Portland Trailblazers, but his basketball career was cut short due to a car accident.
