Monsignor Edwin Sullivan has been an instrumental part of the Seton Hall community for most of his life. He served as team chaplain for the Pirates baseball team for 25 years. He played an integral role in the lives of many outstanding players, including Major Leaguers Rick Cerone, Craig Biggio, Mo Vaughn and John Valentin. Prior to his retirement, he was a faculty member in Seton Hall’s sociology department and served for a time as chair of that department.
