Richard E. Dec

After earning All-America and All-State honors at Seton Hall Prep, Richard Dec came to Seton Hall University and became one of the program’s all-time best rebounders. He averaged 15.4 points and 11.4 rebounds in his career, including 16.9 points and 11.6 rebounds as a senior. At the time of his induction, he was fifth all-time in school history in rebounds with 830. He was selected to the New Jersey All-State team for three consecutive years in 1963–65. He was also selected to the All-Metropolitan team for two years in 1964–65 and selected All-East and an All-American honorable mention in 1965.
