Richard S. Wieczezak

Induction:
1982

While at Seton Hall, Richard Wieczezak enjoyed an outstanding baseball career. In 1964, for a Pirates team that reached the College World Series, he hit an astounding .320. In 1966, he hit .400 and was a third-team All-American. He hit safely in a University record 29 games and finished his career with 64 RBI in 85 games. He subsequently signed with the Washington Senators after graduation.
