Rimas Kaukenas '00 was a major contributor to a men's basketball team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen during his senior season. He averaged 16.3 points in the three-game run that included upset wins over Oregon and Temple. That average ranks sixth all-time in Seton Hall's NCAA history, and he has the best three-point shooting percentage in Seton Hall's NCAA history at 57.1 percent. He graduated as the program's 18th all-time leading scorer and still ranks 31st today with 1,292 points. He was a second-team All-Met Writers second-team selection as a senior and a three-time BIG EAST All-Academic team selection (1998-00).
