Robert Saugstad

Induction:
1981

Robert Saugstad was instrumental in helping the Pirates win 10 or more matches each year from 1965–68. His finish among the top 10 in the 1968 Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championships helped the Pirates to place fourth, which at the time was a program best. After serving for two years in the Marine Corps, he finished sixth in the New Jersey State Amateur Golf Tournament in 1975 and was a medalist in the northern sectional qualifying tournament.
