Roy N. Belliveau

A varsity player in football, basketball and track, Roy Belliveau was voted the NJ Amateur Athlete of the Year in 1948. He came to Seton Hall on a track scholarship, and in 1952, he broke the record for javelin throw, with 210 feet, 9-1/2 inches. Considered an outstanding defensive player and rebounder, he was a starter on the basketball team, scoring 652 career points, and in 1952, he was selected by the New York Knicks in the NBA Draft.
