Timothy A. Byron

In four seasons as a Seton Hall pitcher, Timothy Byron was a member of two NCAA Tournament teams, and the Pirates had a 131-47-2 record with him on the squad. At the time of his induction, Byron’s 29 career victories were the most in Seton Hall history and he held the career mark for most starts by a Pirate hurler with 40, ranked second all-time for strikeouts with 243, and, as a senior captain in 1982, set the single-season mark for consecutive wins with 11. After graduating, he was selected by the New York Yankees in the 1982 MLB Amateur Draft and spent five seasons playing professionally.
