Seton Hall Wrestling Defeats Boston Univ., 17-16

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The Seton Hall wrestling team improved to 7-2 overall with a 17-16 victory over Boston University on Friday in Walsh Gym.
The Pirates used two major decisions to overcome five losses. sophomore Greg Sawyer (Franklinville, NJ) picked up an 11-3 major decision over Ed Strauss at 197 pounds, while senior Joe Benvenuti (Little Falls, NJ) defeated Keith Borgaro with a 15-4 major decision at 141 pounds.
Junior 174-pounder Everett Bell (East Rutherford, NJ), junior 133-pounder Michael Settembrino (Lyndhurst, NJ), and freshman heavyweight Carlos Panfili (Saddle Brook, NJ) were also victorious for Seton Hall.
The Pirates host Boston College and Drexel on at 3 p.m. Jan. 15 in Walsh Gym.
