Bell, Ilaria Win Keystone Classic Wrestling Titles

PHILADELPHIA, PA (November 18, 2000) - Senior Everett Bell
(Wallington, NJ) and junior David Ilaria (Belleville, NJ) earned
individual titles as to lead the Seton Hall wrestling team to a
fourth place finish at the Keystone Classic hosted by the University
of Pennsylvania.
Host Pennsylvania won the meet with 111.5 points, followed by Rider (100.0), Virginia (92.0), Seton Hall (90.0), Brown (82.0), American (50.0) and The Citadel (32.0).
Bell won the 174-pound weight class by defeating Mike Regner of The Citadel, 8-2, in the final. Ilaria captured the title at 133 pounds with an 8-4 decision over Toby McDonald of Virginia.
Senior Mike Settembrino (Lyndhurst, NJ) advanced to the finals of the 141-pound division before falling to Dave Dies of Brown, 7-2 in the title match.
Seton Hall opens its dual meet schedule on Tuesday, November 21 when it hosts Army in a 7 p.m. meet at Walsh Gymnasium.
