Pirate Swimmers and Divers Compete At Rutgers Invitational

PISCATAWAY, NJ (February 10, 2001)- The Seton Hall University swimming and
diving squads concluded their regular seasons at the Rutgers Invitational.
The meet, which also included Rutgers, Georgetown, Syracuse, Villanova and
St. John's wasn't team scored.
Sophomore Erin Burke (Saugus, MA) earned BIG EAST cuts with a victory in the 100-yard butterfly (57.92) and a third-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.99). Sophomore Jess Socha (North Brunswick, NJ) made BIG EAST cuts with a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (24.50) and a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle (53.73).
The Pirates will compete next at the BIG EAST Championships, hosted by the Nassau County Aquatics Center in Uniondale, NY from February 15-17.
