Settembrino Keys Wrestling to Victories over Millersville and Bucknell

Seton Hall, which has won four of its last five dual meets, improves its record to 6-10.
In the first match of the afternoon, Seton Hall trailed Millersville 13-11 after seven matches but junior Dave Ilaria (Belleville, NJ) pinned Ben Miller at 133 pounds to give the Pirates a 17-13 lead. Settembrino then clinched the match with a 5-0 victory over Ryan Wolverton at 141 pounds, giving Seton Hall an insurmountable 20-13 lead.
Against Bucknell, the Pirates trailed 17-14 with just two matches remaining. Settembrino then scored a 12-4 major decision over Brandn Green to put Seton Hall on top 18-17. It was Settembrino's 11th straight win dating back to January 2. With the outcome still in doubt going into the final match, sophomore Beau Bruno (Mineola, NY) recorded an 8-5 decision over Adam Webb at 149 pounds to secure the 21-17 victory.
In addition to Settembrino, freshman Leet Brady (Tulsa, OK), senior Everett Bell (Wallington, NJ) and junior John Garriques (Hackettstown, NJ) also recorded two victories each for Seton Hall.
Brady notched a 19-7 major decision over Mike Bookwalter of Millersville at 157 pounds. He then pinned Bucknell's Mike Saunders in just 19 seconds. Bell scored a 6-3 decision over Alan Grasso of Millersville at 174 pounds, and earned a 4-1 victory over Bucknell's Ben Chunko, avenging a loss from earlier in the season at the Penn State Open. At 184 pounds, Garriques defeated Brian McDonald of Millersville by major decision, 16-2, and then won by technical fall over Chris Alvino of Bucknell (17-1, 4:34).
Seton Hall closes out its dual meet schedule on Tuesday, February 20, when it host Columbia University in an 8 p.m. match.
