Seton Hall's Recreation Center, also known as the Richie Regan Recreation and Athletic Center, is a multipurpose facility built to serve the recreational, physical, educational and intercollegiate athletic needs of the University. Seton Hall has long recognized that recreational activities and formalized sports programming are an integral part to the process of educating the total individual.

Guest Privileges:
The Richie Regan Center has implemented a NEW Guest Policy. All guest reservations must be made at least 3 hours prior to your visit, and members must accompany their guest at all times. Members may only bring 1 guest at a time, and will be permitted a maximum of 5 guests a year. Guests are NOT permitted to use the Fitness Center.
Full-time student member guest fee: $5 per guest
All other members guest fee: $10 per guest
Guest fee without reservation: $25 per guest

Lockers:
Day Locker Policy - Personal locks or locks purchased at the Fitness Center Desk for $5, may be used on designated day lockers for the duration of the members stay, but must be removed at the end of the day. Any locks remaining on these lockers after normal facility operating hours will be removed and all items within will be considered abandoned and discarded.
Rental Locker Policy - Rental lockers are available to members at the cost of $25 per year. Only locks issued by the Rec. Office may be used on rental lockers. The contract year for these lockers is from June 1st through May 1st, and members may use them overnight. Rental contracts may be obtained through the Rec Office.
The Rec Center Management does not assume responsibility for personal items left in lockers.
Towel Service is not available.
Equipment:
The following equipment items are available to

Racquetball Racquets/Balls
Cardio Boxing Gloves
Equipment is issued on a first come, first served basis and for one-day only. Members are responsible for all equipment they check-out and will be charged a replacement fee for any lost, damaged, or equipment not properly returned.
Arrangements for equipment to be used overnight may be made through the Office of Recreational Services, located on the lower level of the

All Access to the
Members MUST present a valid University I.D. card to gain admittance. Individuals will NOT be granted entrance into the building unless proper identification is presented.
Identification cards are not transferable. ID's not belonging to the bearer will be confiscated. The Recreational Services staff reserves the right to ask for additional identification at any time.
Usage:
Use of the Seton Hall University Recreational facilities is considered a privilege. Acceptable rules of conduct must be observed at all times. Anyone violating posted policies, or engaging in any disorderly conduct or inappropriate behavior, including verbal or physical abuse of employees is subject to immediate removal with loss of membership and facility privileges.
Appropriate athletic footwear is required in all areas. We request that patrons carry their workout footwear into the facility and change into them prior to working out. This will greatly assist in minimizing sand and dirt from being brought into the facility. Shirts must be worn at all times.
The following items and/or actions are prohibited in the facility:
Bicycles
In-line skating
Skateboarding
Animals (seeing-eye dogs excluded)
Smoking and all tobacco products
Alcoholic beverages
Spitting (except in toilets or trash cans)
Hanging on basketball rims
Fighting
Abusive language and profanity
Chewing gum,
Food and soda cans/bottles.
No "outdoor sports" may be played in the Richard and Sheila Regan Fieldhouse. Court use is limited to basketball, volleyball, tennis and scheduled intramural events.
Patrons are not to move any equipment set up on the court. Users should ask the building supervisor on duty for assistance with equipment set-up or removal.
Members are asked to report any injury/accident or facility/equipment irregularity immediately to the building manager on duty.
The Blue Room may ONLY be used for scheduled aerobic classes and general fitness activities (no martial arts will be permitted).
Facilities may be closed or reservations canceled if conditions warrant such action.
Open recreation hours may occasionally be disrupted by scheduled activities. Changes on the schedule will be posted at the front desk as well as on the appropriate boards around the facility.
Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Lost and Found:
The Department of Athletics and Recreational Services is not responsible for lost or stolen items. All items turned into "Lost and Found" will be held for 15 days, then donated to charity or discarded. Members and guests are advised to secure valuables in locker during workouts.
Court Reservations:
Due to construction the racquetball courts will be unavailable until further noted.
Membership Information
All full-time undergraduate and graduate students as well as full-time employees receiving university benefits have been granted free access to the Recreation Center.
Membership Categories:
Full-Time Employee Family Memberships are available and include spouse and dependent children under age 21. Each family member may be included far an additional $100; or the entire family may join for $250.
Recent Alumni (having received undergraduate degree in the past 3 years) may join for $250. Family members may be included for an additional $100; or the entire family may join for $500.
Alumni (those receiving either an undergraduate or graduate degree from
Part-Time Student may join for $100 per semester. Immediate family members may join for an additional $100 per.
