Tennis Picks Up Two Top Recruits

“I am very pleased that Michelle and Courtney have chosen SHU,” Wyzykowski stated. “Courtney and Michelle have demonstrated success on the court and off-the-court in the classroom. Both of them will be welcome additions to our program.”
Weerasinghe brings USTA tournament experience and a high national ranking to the Pirates. According to tennisrecruiting.net, she is rated a four star player (five being the highest). Another website, universaltennis.com, rates Weerasinghe a “level nine” player.
