NEWARK, N.J. - Team Walker, a non-profit youth organization founded and directed by Seton Hall men's basketball great Jerry Walker will be holding its annual toy drive before the Seton Hall Men’s basketball games at the Prudential Center on December 16th vs. North Carolina A&T and on December 19th vs. Longwood.
Fans are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys to the arena, where Team Walker "elves" will collect them on the main concourse.
“This will be the only gift some of these kids receive this year," Walker said via a recent press release. "This is a great opportunity to turn a sad situation into a happy one for these children.”
If you would like to donate gifts to the Team Walker Toy Drive, but will not be attending the games on December 16th and 19th, you may mail the gifts to: Team Walker, 316 Communipaw Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07304.
Team Walker is a non-profit organization founded by former Seton Hall basketball legend Jerry Walker that assists the youth of Jersey City through academic and athletic after-school and summer programs.
