
Auda Named to NABC Honors Court

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Seton Hall forward Patrik Auda (Brno, Czech Republic) was recently named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, which recognizes college basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the 2012-13 season.
Auda was limited to just five appearances for the Pirates last year but continued to perform at an elite level in the classroom. A Business Administration and Finance double major; he was selected as a nominee for the BIG EAST Scholar Athlete of the Year and Sport Excellence Awards and was one of 39 Seton Hall student-athletes inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society, Chi Alpha Sigma, in the spring.
To be recognized as part of the Honors Court, the men's basketball student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, and possess a cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. Auda is one of only five players from current BIG EAST institutions to be honored while Seton Hall is one of three schools in the conference with a representative on the list.
