
Edwin Earns Fourth BIG EAST Weekly Accolade

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Seton Hall guard Fuquan Edwin (Paterson, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the second straight week and fourth time this season after averaging 21.0 points in two conference games last week. His marquee performance came on Saturday when Edwin exploded for 30 points in The Hall's double-digit victory over DePaul.
The 6-foot-6 senior shot 16-for-23 (.696) from the field in consecutive double-figure scoring performances. Edwin had 12 points on 5-for-7 (.714) shooting at St. John's on Thursday, and then went 11-for-16 from the field with three 3-pointers in the win over the Blue Demons. Edwin had 22 of his points in the first half against DePaul en route to his second 30-point performance this season.
Ethan Wragge (Creighton) was named Player of the Week and Rysheed Jordan (St. John's) received Rookie of the Week. Davante Gardner (Marquette), Bryce Cotton (Providence), James Bell (Villanova) and Semaj Christon (Xavier) also made the Weekly Honor Roll.
Seton Hall returns to action Wednesday hosting Butler at the Prudential Center. Tip-off is 9 p.m. on FOX Sports 1 and 570 AM (WMCA).
