SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Head coach Kevin Willard officially announced on Tuesday that recruit Dalton Soffer (San Diego, Calif.) has signed a national letter of intent to play men's basketball at Seton Hall University starting in the fall of 2015.
"We're really pleased to add a player like Dalton," Willard said. "His ability to shoot the ball fits perfectly in our system and we think he'll be an asset to the program."
Widely regarded as an excellent shooter, particularly from three-point range, Soffer is a 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard with good length. A San Diego Section All-League Second Team selection as a junior, he is entering his senior season at Poway High School in California.
Seton Hall will return to action on Sunday, December 14 when the Pirates return to the Prudential Center to host in-state rival Saint Peter's. Game time is scheduled for noon.
