PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's swimming & diving team wrapped up the weekend on Saturday afternoon at the Rutgers Quad Meet against some of the toughest competition in the BIG EAST. The Pirates fell to Georgetown, 252-94, before falling 289-57 to three-time reigning league champion Villanova and 269-77 to host Rutgers.
Freshman Sara Ouellette (Granby, Conn.) placed fifth in the 500 backstroke with a time of 2:05.28 and finished eighth in the 400 individual medley after touching in 4:41.11.
The 200 medley relay squad of sophomore Aitana Robinson (London, Ontario), freshman Jordan Decker (Mason, Ohio), senior Tessa Lindner (Sun Prairie, Wisc.) and freshman Clara Capone (West Hartford, Conn.) placed fifth with a time of 1:49.01.
Capone also finished the 200 free in 1:58.78 to take eighth, while sophomore Aitana Robinson (London, Ontario) placed sixth in the 100 back after touching in 1:00.20.
Looking forward, The Hall will participate in the Patriot Invitational hosted by George Mason on Nov. 17-19 in Fairfax, Va.
