Go Leads Seton Hall to Seventh Place Tie at Rutherford Intercollegiate

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Junior Lloyd Jefferson Go (Guadalupe Cebu City, Philippines) finished in eighth place with an even-par, 69-68-76-213, to lead the Seton Hall men's golf team to a seventh place tie at the 2016 Rutherford Intercollegiate.
After two sub-par rounds, Go slipped a bit in round three, but still notched his eighth top-10 finish in 10 tournaments this year. Penn State's Charles Huntzinger won the individual title at 10-under par.
Collectively, the Pirates tied for seventh with a fellow BIG EAST competitor, Georgetown. Seton Hall shot a 33-over-par, 289-289-307-885. Penn State won the team title at 9-under par. Another BIG EAST team, Xavier, finished in third place at 9-over-par.
Freshman Gen Nagai (Mandaue Cebu City, Philippines) finished the three-round event at 9-over-par with a 76-71-75-222.
Senior Ryan Snouffer (Sparta, N.J.) finished just two strokes behind Nagai at 11-over-par with a 70-76-78-224. Two strokes behind Snouffer finished Chris Yeom (Flushing, N.Y.). He shot a 13-over-par, 74-74-78-226.
Junior Cory Wilson (Newton, N.J.) finished at 23-over-par with an 80-77-79-236.
Kevin O'Brien (Wexford, Pa.), competing as an individual, had a strong tournament with an 8-over-par, 76-74-71-221.

This snack area offers a variety of food and snacks for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. The Cafe's open dining area overlooks the courses and provides the perfect compliments to a round of golf.
The Field:
Although small, the field at the 2016 Rutherford Intercollegiate is impressive. In addition to Seton Hall and host Penn State, the 11-team field includes: Binghamton, Connecticut, Eastern Michigan, Georgetown, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Xavier and Youngstown.
Tee Times:
In round one on Saturday, Seton Hall will be paired with golfers from former BIG EAST competitors West Virginia and Rutgers. The Pirates will tee off the first hole beginning at 7:30 a.m.
