Pirates Split Spring Weekend Opener

Florham Park, N.J. – The Seton Hall women's tennis team opened up its spring season this weekend and split a pair of matches, falling to Fordham on Saturday, 5-2, before earning a 6-1 victory over Marist on Sunday at CenterCourt Sports.

On Saturday, sophomore Melody Taal (Ede, Netherlands) and senior Katie Kim (Honolulu, Hawaii) each picked up singles victories.

The Pirates (1-1) swept the doubles point on Sunday, and won five of the six singles matchups.

Up next, Seton Hall travels to West Point, N.Y. on Saturday, Feb. 3 to take on Army West Point at 11 a.m.
