Beefsteak Tip-Off Dinner Sets New Records

South Orange, N.J. - The tenth annual Pirate Blue Beefsteak Dinner was another outstanding success, as the fundraiser brought in over $130,000 and set a new event record with over $60,000 raised through the silent auction.
In addition to serving as a fundraiser, the signature Pirate Blue event was an opportunity for Pirates fans, Pirate Blue supporters and alumni to meet the 2018-19 men's and women's basketball teams, who mingled with everyone during the cocktail hour and then were introduced by their respective coaches after dinner.

The silent auction featured many outstanding items including tickets to pro sporting events across all major sports in New York, country club foursomes, autographed memorabilia from numerous local sports teams, special Seton Hall experiences and more.
