The Pirates recorded seven program records and took home nine gold medals en route to the thrilling victory at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Entering Championship Saturday, the Pirates trailed Villanova by 23.5 points.
However, midway through the evening the 100 free gave the Pirates the boost they desperately needed to swing momentum to their side. Junior Dakota Williams (Noank, Conn.) swam a school-record 44.26 and was followed by the senior veterans from Arnold, Md. Noah Yanchulis (44.50) and Vadim Jacobson.(44.67), as The Hall went 1-2-3 to take its first lead of the meet.

Next, senior Matt Zebrowski (Sayreville, N.J.) and junior Ivan Michalovic (Glen Mills, Pa.) delivered an absolutely thrilling effort in the 200 fly, finishing in first (1:50.29) and third (1:50.80), respectively to put the Pirates in the lead for good.

The Pirates hammered home the victory in the final event of the meet by delivering a win in the 400 free relay after seniors Noah Yanchulis and Vadim Jacobson (Arnold, Md.), junior Lior Grubert (Yehud-Monosson, Israel) and Williams posted a time of 2:59.22.

Yanchulis, a two-time BIG EAST Most Outstanding Swimmer, wraps up his outstanding career with 10 BIG EAST gold medals.
The Pirates were relentless down the stretch on Saturday night, taking gold in each of the final four swimming events to complete the comeback.
