
Seton Hall Drops Spring Break Finale vs. Xavier

Orlando, Fla. – The Seton Hall women's tennis team suffered a 4-3 setback to BIG EAST Conference rival Xavier on Friday. The Pirates wrap up their spring break trip with a record of 2-1.
 
The Pirates evened the best-of-three doubles point at 1-1 after a 6-3 victory by senior Anicka Fajnorova (Bratislava, Slovakia) and freshman Regina Pitts (Los Angeles, Calif.), but were unable to clinch the point.
 
Fajnorova registered a win at the No. 1 singles position over Ahmeir Kyle with scores of 3-6, 7-5, 6-4. Pitts picked up a win at the No. 2 spot, and junior Michal Matson (Christchurch, New Zealand) defeated Rachael Reichenback in the No. 4 position.
 
Up next, Seton Hall returns home for a 7 p.m. conference match against Butler on Friday, March 22 at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness Center.
