
Pirates Wrap Up Day One at Berkley Tri-Meet

New Providence, N.J. - The Pirates wrapped up Day One of the Berkley Aquatics Tri-Meet leading BIG EAST rival Providence 98-25 while trailing Georgetown 77-50.
The Hall got off to a hot start winning the 200 free relay. Thomas Minar (Oxford, Conn.), Ben LaClair (Belchertown, Mass.), Sam Hendrix (Hillsborough, N.J.) and Joe Gibson (Chicago, Ill.) paced the pool in a time of 1:24.63.
In the 500 free LaClair and Gibson were able to take second and third with times of 4:38.26 and 4:41.34, respectively. Joining the duo in the four and five spots was Justin Oosterwyk (Pequannock, N.J.) and Caleb Smith (Charlottesville, Va.) as the Pirates took four of the top five spots in the event.
