
2020 Chi Alpha Sigma Class Inducted

South Orange, N.J. – A total of 34 Seton Hall University student-athletes were inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, on Thursday.
The 2020 group of honorees joins over 270 Seton Hall student-athletes who have been inducted into the prestigious group since 2011. Founded in 1996 by Nick Mourouzis, a long-time football head coach at DePauw University, the non-profit organization was established to recognize varsity letter winning college athletes at four-year accredited college and universities.
In order to earn this distinction, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 with at least junior academic standing and be of exceptional moral character.
As stated by the organization, its purposes are to:
A perennial leader in academic success among its peers, Seton Hall's continued excellence in the classroom is evidenced by the department's commitment to resources as well as the student-athletes' commitment to furthering their education. The Hall's Charles W. Doehler Academic Center for Excellence with its main study area, group meeting spaces and private tutoring rooms, along with the outstanding mentoring and tutoring services provided by the Academic Support Services staff help provide student-athletes with an incredible learning experience.
