Statement from Bryan Felt Regarding Fall Sports Postponement
8/12/2020 6:26:00 PM | General, Men's Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Women's Cross Country, Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball
This is a difficult day for Seton Hall Athletics. Â While we cherish the opportunity for our student-athletes to compete for championships and represent our great University, the health, safety and welfare of our community remains our number one priority, and at this time, the guidance, data and facts we have received has led to this postponement. My heart goes out to each of our student-athletes. Â I know how hard they have worked to put themselves in a position to play.
While today's news is disappointing, we truly believe that the student-athlete experience at Seton Hall goes beyond game competition. Â We are looking forward to welcoming back our student-athletes for the fall semester, Â and alongside their classwork, they will still have the opportunity to practice, train and continue to get better so that they will be ready for when their time does come.
We know these are challenging times for all, and we are thankful to the entire Seton Hall Athletics community, its fans and alumni for their support as we continue to navigate this changing landscape.
